This 9-employee company, founded in 2023 by an early engineer at Ramp and a second-time founder who previously scaled a 9-figure marketplace, is backed by $4M in seed funding and experiencing double-digit month-over-month growth. They're seeking a Founding AI Deployment Lead to help scale their customer operations. This in-office role is based in New York City.

Role

  • $90K to $140K base salary plus 0.25-0.35% equity

Official Job Description

As our Founding AI Deployment Lead, you'll create the systems and processes that enable our customers — healthcare providers — to serve 5x more patients through intelligent automation. This isn't a standard customer role—you'll directly influence our product roadmap, design scalable implementation frameworks, and develop adoption/cross-sell strategies for our most advanced AI capabilities.

You will...

1. Scale Our Customer Operations

  • Build repeatable processes with no-code tools (e.g., Retool, Zapier, MailChimp) that enable our small team to onboard multiple healthcare sites simultaneously
  • Lead implementation calls with new customers, understand their specific needs, and configure their initial setup
  • Configure CX platforms to handle routine communications, track implementation progress, and provide consistent post-launch support

2. Shape the Customer Experience

  • Partner with product and engineering to map and optimize customer journeys from first login through adoption of advanced AI scheduling features
  • Collect and analyze feedback from healthcare sites to identify patterns and prioritize impactful product improvements

3. Lead Strategic Programs

  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts to test and refine advanced AI modules for scheduling, recruitment, and compliance
  • Develop clear strategies to guide customers from basic to sophisticated AI workflows that deliver measurable ROI

4. Leverage Data for Insights

  • Write SQL queries to create dashboards that identify at-risk accounts, growth opportunities, and engagement patterns
  • Translate usage data into actionable recommendations for product, sales, and customer success teams
